That's Why I Wrote This Song – Thanks Good Charlotte

Played Good Charlotte, Green Day & Eminem on the way home to Oz from Bologna Book Fair. Wish they knew that their music inspired ‘That’s Why I Wrote This Song’ – the music, the lyrics, the book.

Tory Gervay wrote at the end of ‘That’s Why I Wrote This Song’ -

Going to the Bologna Book Fair made me realise that lots of publishers don’t get it. Books have to be real if they mean anything. If you’re fifteen or twenty five or ? – it’s about real story and music can take you there.

Robbed, Rolled & Rocking at the Bologna Book Fair

Good news is that I’m not dead.
Bad news is that money and Visa were stolen in a STING in Italy.

Good news is that I LOVED meeting all the writers and illustrators and publishers and music makers and ….. at the Bologna Book Fair!!!!!!
Bad news is that I couldn’t rock and roll – too tired from late night dinners and parties!!!!
Poor me!!!!

Good news is that there was a hype about ‘That’s Why I Wrote This Song’ – new direction in writing with rock music and all that stuff and everyone loved Tory’s songs and the video clip.

Bad news is that EVERONE laughed when they saw the video clip – AT ME!!!!
