Michelle Fox is a storyteller searching for her past and the people she has never known due to war, the Holocaust, migration.

Her presentation at The Hughenden in Sydney captured us all with moving tales of loss and discovery.
Her art installation of ‘dolls’ takes fragments of story and images to give a visual reality to those people she seeks to find.
See the exhibition in Melbourne from
29 October 2009 to 23rd January 2010 – details on www.daxcollection.org.au

Brewongle Writers in the Environment Camp 2009

Bush, rocky outcrops, an old school house in Australian wilderness, the Hawkesbury River crossing on a ferry to drive through hilly roads to Brewongle.

If you love the environment, learning, enthused young people, authors and passionate environmentalist teachers, then you’ll love it here.

One of the bright students at the Brewongle Writers Camp wrote this wonderful poem for her Dad:

Written by Loren Howarth

As I listen to your encouragement on the soccer field
I try harder as you believe in me
I try not to let you down
You taught me how to kick a ball better
I appreciate that in every way
Every time you smile, you make my day
It makes me happy and everyone else
So Dad when your put down
Read this and when you smile
I will feel it too
Then we can all be happy
No matter where we are, what we do
We are family
So keep that with you too.
