SCBWI retreat launched in Florida as we go CUBAN!

Leaders from all over the USA and the world from South Africa to Australia descend into Miami.

We’re off on a Bahamas cruise – we are are going to work I promise.

 However we started off at a Cuban Restaurant in Miami. Around 15 of us piled into a shuttle and ended up in the middle of St patrick’s Day – lots of green.

Alex Finn author of ‘Beastly’ HarperCollins teen, joined us – she’s part of Florida SCBWI headed by the fantastic Linda Rodriguez. Linda organised the restaurant too.

We’re heading off on the cruise now.
