Anna Conomos, an Australian storyteller who has won the UK Young Storyteller of the Year captured a a full house of enthusiasts at The Hughenden Woollahra Sydney. Her stories of the mythical Gods of Ancient Greece, folk tales of Russia and the heroic exploits of Alexander the Great had the audience laughing, spell bound, scared, enlightened as we were drawn into Anna’s tales. It was one of those sunny afternoons, warm and familiar with writers and readers. Steve the financial controller was the cook and the Maintenance team sung carols, while Julia the course coordinator welcomed everyone and Jacqui her assistant was beaming.
