Manhattan Dreaming by Anita Heiss was Fun, Fantastic & I LOVE Anita!

Anita is on a search for a MAN.I’ve already got one, but … who knows. Just kidding.
Anita arrived in bright pink colours that matched her book. She also wore a black sleek wig at the launch of “Manhattan Dreaming’ at Glee Bookshop. Her fantastic Mum arrived in a white top, black skirt and red sash around her hips, like the sassy lady on Anita’s book.
Hundreds of people arrived and they weren”t dissapointed. Anita is a fun chick and Manhattan is lucky to have her arrive on its shores. There was rap poetry, fabulous singing, great speeches and lots of support from the indigenous community, as well as everyone else in the community.
Dr Meenakshi Bharat and Sujata Rao just flew in from India to celebrate. Indian scholars are studying Australian black culture through literature.
My friends Kate Forsyth, Sharon Rundle and Judith Ridge came along to celebrate as well.
It was a great night.
